When Harlan arrived I was SHOCKED! A red merle!? I was under the impression that this litter would only have black tri's and blue merles, so getting 3 red's was so very exciting for me. All my hopes rested with Harlan, I watched her every day, and I think she is lovely!

She is temperament ++, with a lovely feminine head and beautiful profile. She's closer to square than her brother Rival, and is a touch simpler over all. Nice reach and drive, lovely shoulder, topline and balanced rear.

I'm very excited to bring Harlan out of her shell, encourage her to succeed, and watch her become a lovely example of the breed.

Harlan was amazing in her first outing, taking Best Baby Puppy in Group at the Forest City Kennel Club show on Saturday, and she was narrowly beat out by her brother Rival on the Sunday Show. We're hoping to be out for one more baby puppy show, possibly St. Thomas in July, with our first "real" show planned for August in the Bracebridge show.

Harlan finished her Championship at the Elora Gorge show, at the tender age of 9 months! We're now working towards her Grand Championship, and working on plans for her first litter, likely in the summer of  2020!
