Lesson learned...
so, aparently puppies don't have the reflex ability to get away from cats at a young age....we learned this the hard way, and the expensive way....vet says we should buy a lottery ticket, he has no idea how the actual eye did not get injured, just the third eye lid did....poor Rowdy. All stitched up though, and vet is confident it will heal! Learn from our mistake, stay clear of kitties for a while!

It's going great. The one stitch in his eye has kept everything closed, to help the healing. He's a trooper, and wants rid of that cone! Really really loves his ear scratches now! I think instead of teaching him that cats hurt, it has taught him to hate kitties..,,
