Some Canine Cancer Information

Hello everyone,

As some of you know I recently lost Lois to canine anal gland cancer. A fast spreading, aggressive type of cancer called Adenocarcinoma. It spread so fast, and Lois hid it well, I didn't catch it in time. It's not a very common type of canine cancer, but in the future, I do plan to be over cautious and have all of my dogs anal glands checked regularly, at Vet appointments, and grooming sessions. I have gathered a lot of screen shots and things that I would like to remember should anything like cancer pop up again for myself, and of course for you all. I hope to always be a support to you all through things like this, and though my journey with Lois was short, I think I accumulated a good amount of knowledge and with cancer such as hers time is of the essence. Please, I implore you to contact me as quickly as possible if you ever run into anything like this. Time is truly not our friends when it comes to cancer, even diet changes and speed of introducing things like supplements or cbd/thc can have a huge impact on gaining more days with our babies.

I'm going to add about a million screen shots, and links to this thread. I know when I first found out about Lois having cancer, I wasn't ready to talk to people about it, I waited about 2 weeks before I really started to pick the brains of my peers... I lost a lot of time, I was of course feverishly researching on my own, and talking with my vet, but there are so many great outlets, and I don't want anyone to feel as alone as I felt. I felt like I was blindly searching for "cure-alls" and signed up for a million cbd oil websites/emails, canine cancer e-mails, someone out there probably thinks I'm a junkie hahaha! Please use me as a guide and an ear anytime you need to. No question is silly, and I promise to work as hard for your puppies as I did for Lois.

Ok, so sorry if you get a million notifications about me posting to this thread today.

Love you all,

Hope you're all doing well.

And thank you to everyone who reached out and sent messages of love and support. It meant a lot to me.

Joce
