New Puppy Families

A WICKED AWESOME PUPPY PACK!

I know, I'm going to ruin the surprise, but it's good to know what I send home with you guys. I always try to do a special bag/bucket for all the goodies! You guys will love the bags I got this time! They should be arriving any day now...

• I don't send home collars and leashes. Usually you will have a particular colour or print that you want your puppy to wear, and I think that's an important choice! (as a puppy buyer, if you think it would be beneficial for me to have some options here to "pick" I have wondered about doing that, please leave a comment, as I've always wondered if I should have a little bucket of collars, seems like it could be wasteful if people are just going to choose their own.)

• I send home a big ziplock bag of puppy food, (6-7cups!) usually enough to get you through a food transition if you're choosing to switch foods. Remember that stress, new water and new food can cause your puppy some tummy upset, so go slowly, and it may be a good idea to have some rice or pumpkin on hand to facilitate a "bland" day to get over any gastro-upset your puppy may experience. Please feel free to contact me if you need help. (Over feeding can cause tummy upset too. When in doubt, give your puppies tummy time to adjust)

• Puppy contracts, invoice, parents info, birth certificate etc.

• A few fun toys! Usually these are doubles of what they've had in the puppy pen(but new and clean lol)

• A small bed(sometimes not clean, sorry about that!) This is to have some smell of their brothers and sisters to go home with, it can help with their transition overnight.

• Clicker! Time to get your clicker on! Watch all the clicker videos on Youtube, you'll be an expert in no time!

• Some puppy treats, Benny Bullies, Zukes, or other soft options for great success with training(perfect to pair with your clicker)

• Poop bags! Because you just never know when that first poop might happen?? hahaha

I think that's it! I'm trying to remember if there's anything else I add... Either way, this is a great start, sometimes I'll toss in a few other fun things (Kit went home with a "Canadian Passport" tree ornament🤣) So fun to see these guys flourishing in their new homes!
