Tipping the Water Bowl
I'm struggling to get these puppies to stop dumping the water bowl. Right now, I have the two puppies in their pen during the day, so I've left them two types of bowls, one was your normal everyday simple bowl, but I got really tired of coming into it toppled over with water everywhere. So I decided to get one of the "Jug" style bowls thinking that it may deter them from playing with it, I was wrong, it only adds to the water concern. Also, I've been leaving the water in with them overnight, which is creating problems with potty training. It's been about 4 years since I've had a small puppy here, so it's a learning curve all over again. Tonight, I plan to remove access to water at about 9:30 or so, and put it back in the morning after they've been out to pee. I'm hoping this will begin to reduce the likelihood of accidents overnight.
Any one else having issues with water bowls? I'm trying to think of some solutions... but coming up blank aside from limiting access(which is not really ideal).
